Phishing Alert

Associated Bank has been alerted of a “phishing” scam that is targeting customers by sending an email that appears to be coming from “Associated Bank” with various subject lines that include terms requesting you to verify your account information.

The term phishing refers to a fraudulent attempt to obtain credit card or account information and in this case, is done via email. The email directs customers to click on a link and confirm their information.

Associated Bank will never ask for a customer’s personal or account information, password, or PIN over the phone, via email, or the Internet if the customer did not initiate the contact.

If you have released any information in response to this email or believe you have compromised your account information, please report to Customer Care at 800-236-8866.
